Chemistry Education Research
The Yik Research Group in the Department of Chemistry at the University of Georgia is a Chemistry Education Research group focused on enhancing chemistry learning and teaching across a variety of postsecondary chemistry contexts. We are a group of chemistry education scholars that use an array of quantitative and qualitative methods to advance the teaching and learning of chemistry.

Specifically, the Yik Research Group leverages generative artificial intelligence, machine learning, survey methods, statistical methods and regression techniques, mixture modeling, psychometric evaluations of validity and reliability, semi-structured interviews, think-aloud protocols, observations, and document/response analyses.
